1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before accessing or using the services provided by Travevo Consulting Limited ("Travevo," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "Customer") and Travevo Consulting Limited regarding your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, services, and any other platforms we operate (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services").

By accessing or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • "Platform" means our website, mobile applications, and any other digital interfaces operated by Travevo
  • "Services" means all travel-related services offered through our Platform, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, car rentals, holiday packages, visa assistance, travel insurance, and other ancillary services
  • "Customer" or "User" means any person or entity accessing or using our Platform
  • "Suppliers" or "Partners" means airlines, hotels, car rental companies, tour operators, insurance providers, and other third-party service providers whose services are offered through our Platform
  • "Booking" means a reservation or purchase of travel services made through our Platform
  • "Content" means all text, images, graphics, logos, videos, data, and other materials displayed on our Platform

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services and enter into these Terms. By using our Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

3.2 Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe that the information provided is false, misleading, or violates these Terms.

4. SERVICES AND BOOKINGS

4.1 Nature of Services

Travevo operates as a travel agency and intermediary between you and our Suppliers. We facilitate the booking and reservation of travel services but do not own, operate, or control the airlines, hotels, car rental services, or other suppliers whose services are offered through our Platform. We act as an agent on behalf of these Suppliers.

4.2 Booking Process

When you make a booking through our Platform:

  • You submit an offer to purchase the travel services selected
  • Your booking is confirmed only when we send you a confirmation email or booking voucher
  • You are responsible for verifying all booking details, including names, dates, times, and destinations
  • All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by the relevant Supplier

4.3 Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our Platform:

  • Are quoted in the currency specified and are subject to change without notice
  • May include service fees, booking fees, and taxes unless otherwise stated
  • Are confirmed only upon receipt of your booking confirmation
  • May be subject to currency exchange fluctuations for international bookings

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless alternative payment arrangements have been explicitly agreed upon. We accept payment via credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as indicated on our Platform.

4.4 Booking Modifications and Cancellations

Changes or cancellations to bookings:

  • Must be requested through our customer service channels
  • Are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant Supplier
  • May incur cancellation fees, modification fees, or penalties as specified by the Supplier
  • May not be possible for certain fare types (e.g., non-refundable tickets)
  • Must comply with any notice periods specified by the Supplier

We will communicate applicable cancellation policies at the time of booking. Please review these policies carefully before confirming your booking.

5. FLIGHTS

5.1 Flight Bookings

All flight bookings are subject to:

  • The terms and conditions of the operating airline
  • Availability and fare rules at the time of booking
  • International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations
  • Applicable aviation laws and regulations

5.2 Passenger Names and Travel Documents

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring passenger names exactly match valid government-issued identification or passports
  • Possessing valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) required for your journey
  • Verifying visa requirements for your destination and transit countries
  • Arriving at the airport with sufficient time for check-in and security procedures

Important: Name changes on airline tickets may not be permitted or may incur significant fees. Some tickets are completely non-transferable.

5.3 Baggage

Baggage allowances, restrictions, and fees are determined by the operating airline. We recommend checking directly with the airline regarding specific baggage policies. Additional charges may apply for excess baggage, special items, or baggage on certain fare types.

5.4 Flight Delays, Cancellations, and Schedule Changes

Airlines reserve the right to change flight schedules, routes, or cancel flights without prior notice. In such cases, you must contact the airline directly for rebooking, compensation, or refunds. We will assist where possible, but we are not liable for any expenses, losses, or damages resulting from airline-initiated changes or cancellations.

5.5 Overbooking

Airlines occasionally overbook flights. If you are denied boarding due to overbooking, you must contact the airline directly for alternative arrangements and any compensation to which you may be entitled under applicable regulations.

6. HOTELS AND ACCOMMODATION

6.1 Hotel Bookings

Hotel reservations are subject to:

  • The terms and conditions of the individual hotel or accommodation provider
  • Availability at the time of booking
  • The hotel’s cancellation, modification, and payment policies

6.2 Check-in and Check-out

Check-in and check-out times vary by property. You are required to:

  • Present valid government-issued photo identification at check-in
  • Provide a valid credit card for incidental charges (even for pre-paid bookings)
  • Comply with the hotel’s house rules and policies

Hotels reserve the right to refuse check-in if valid identification is not provided or if you do not comply with their policies.

6.3 Room Allocation

While we book the room type you select, the actual room assignment (including floor, view, and specific location within the property) is at the discretion of the hotel. Special requests (e.g., high floor, ocean view, adjoining rooms) are not guaranteed and are subject to availability at check-in.

6.4 Hotel Ratings and Descriptions

Hotel ratings, descriptions, photos, and amenities displayed on our Platform are provided by the hotels or third-party sources. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. We are not responsible for discrepancies between the information displayed and the actual hotel facilities or services.

7. CAR RENTALS

Car rental services are subject to:

  • The terms and conditions of the car rental company
  • Age restrictions (typically 21-25 years minimum, varies by location)
  • Valid driver’s license requirements (may include international driving permit)
  • Insurance and damage waiver requirements
  • Security deposit or credit card hold requirements
  • Additional fees for extra drivers, GPS, child seats, and other add-ons

You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as received, on time, and at the agreed location. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

8. TRAVEL PACKAGES

Holiday packages and tour packages offered on our Platform may include various combinations of flights, accommodation, transfers, tours, and activities. Package bookings are subject to the combined terms and conditions of all included services. Specific inclusions, exclusions, and itineraries will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

Package components cannot typically be cancelled or modified individually. Changes to package bookings may require cancellation and rebooking of the entire package, subject to applicable fees and availability.

9. VISA ASSISTANCE AND TRAVEL INSURANCE

9.1 Visa Assistance

We offer visa application assistance services, which may include document preparation, application submission, and appointment scheduling. However, we do not guarantee visa approval. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy, consulate, or immigration authority. Visa fees are non-refundable regardless of the application outcome.

9.2 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and travel delays. Insurance policies are provided by third-party insurance companies, and coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. We act only as an intermediary in facilitating insurance purchases.

10. SPECIAL REQUESTS AND ACCESSIBILITY

Special requests such as dietary requirements, wheelchair assistance, medical equipment, or other accommodations should be communicated at the time of booking. While we will forward these requests to Suppliers, we cannot guarantee they will be fulfilled. Compliance with special requests is at the sole discretion of the Supplier.

If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us directly so we can assist in making appropriate arrangements.

11. INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLANS

Where available, we may offer installment payment plans ("Pay Small Small" or similar programs) that allow you to pay for bookings in installments. Participation in installment plans is subject to additional terms and conditions, including:

  • Eligibility requirements and approval process
  • Payment schedule deadlines
  • Late payment fees and default charges (typically 5% of outstanding balance)
  • Consequences of default, including booking cancellation
  • Ticket issuance only after full payment is received

If you default on payment, your booking may be cancelled, and you may forfeit amounts already paid after deduction of cancellation fees and damages incurred by Travevo.

12. REFUNDS AND COMPENSATION

12.1 Refund Policy

Refund eligibility and amounts are determined by the Supplier’s cancellation policy and fare rules. Refunds may take 30-90 days to process, depending on the Supplier and payment method. Service fees and booking fees charged by Travevo are generally non-refundable.

12.2 Compensation

Claims for compensation arising from flight delays, cancellations, denied boarding, or other service disruptions must be directed to the relevant Supplier. We are not liable for compensation unless required by law and where we are directly responsible for the issue.

13. COVID-19 AND HEALTH-RELATED TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

International travel regulations, including COVID-19 testing requirements, quarantine rules, vaccination mandates, and entry restrictions, are subject to change without notice. You are solely responsible for:

  • Researching and complying with health and entry requirements for your destination and transit countries
  • Obtaining required vaccinations, tests, health certificates, and documentation
  • Understanding quarantine requirements and travel insurance implications
  • Monitoring travel advisories and government announcements

We are not liable for any consequences arising from your failure to comply with health-related travel requirements, including denied boarding or entry.

14. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any party
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Platform
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or payment disputes without just cause
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content on our Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is the property of Travevo Consulting Limited or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, or sell any content from our Platform without our prior written consent.

16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Platform is free from viruses or harmful components
  • All information on the Platform is accurate, complete, or current

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVEVO CONSULTING LIMITED, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use our Services
  • Actions or inactions of Suppliers or third parties
  • Flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes
  • Quality of services provided by Suppliers
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged baggage or personal property
  • Personal injury, illness, or death during travel
  • Denied entry to countries or denied boarding
  • Changes in government policies, travel restrictions, or force majeure events
  • Any other matter related to the Services

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TRAVEVO FOR THE SPECIFIC BOOKING GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

18. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Travevo Consulting Limited, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, violation of any rights of third parties, or any fraudulent or illegal conduct.

19. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Travevo. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

20. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government actions, pandemics, technical failures, or interruptions in internet or telecommunications services.

21. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

21.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

21.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our Services:

  1. Informal Resolution: The parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation within 30 days
  2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties may pursue mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
  3. Arbitration or Litigation: If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or litigation in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria

21.3 Jurisdiction

You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria for the resolution of any disputes.

22. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our customer service. Termination does not affect existing bookings, which remain subject to applicable cancellation policies.

23. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Platform. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

24. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the parties’ original intent.

25. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Travevo Consulting Limited regarding your use of the Platform and Services, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
